Katie Gorum - Production Stage Manager   Katie Gorum has been with Kidz Theater from the very beginning of its life in NYC!  Katie attended Marymount Manhattan College and received a BA in Theater Production and Political Science.  Katie is currently the full-time Technical Director at the  Baryshnikov Arts Center  in Manhattan and has worked professionally for 15 years in production as a stage manager, lighting designer and technician in venues all across New York (including the American Girl Place Theater, where she met Kristen!).  She also works as an activist and consultant with the LGBTQ Education organization,  GLSEN .  In Katie's free time she enjoys seeing movies, concerts, and shows with her wife, Patrice, as well as playing boardgames with friends, and drinking coffee while reading a good book.

  Julian Sarria - Assistant Artistic Director, Teacher   Jules started at KT in 2009 as a performer and has since worked as an Intern, Social Media Manager, Teacher, and now as Assistant AD. He has a BFA in Music Theater from The Hartt School and has performed regionally and off-Broadway. Julian currently works for the Shubert Organization at New World Stages and teaches our Junior Intensives.

  Bethany Moore - Choreographer, Teacher   Bethany has been a part of Kidz Theater since 2016. Before she began teaching and choreographing with KT she had been a part of the original Broadway casts of the Tony-Award winning revival of PIPPIN and SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK and has performed nationally and internationally with the touring companies of A CHORUS LINE and CATS. She received her BFA in Musical Theater from the State University of New York in Buffalo and has a Master’s degree from NYU in Educational Theater. Bethany's newest role is that of "Mama" to her 18 month old son Ellis who loves dancing around the house with his mom.

  Kyla Kollmer McHale - Dramaturg, House Manager   Kyla is also an arts educator, director, performer, and puppeteer. She received her B.A. in performance, and performance studies from Muhlenberg College and her M.A. in theatre education from NYU. Kyla is a full-time Program Manager for ArtsConnection, an arts education organization; managing programs across the city, leading professional development and coaching NYC teachers and teaching artists in theatre and special education best practices. She is also an active member of the Arts For All Abilities Consortium. Kyla has a background in physical theatre and puppetry, she has created original masks and puppets for several KT shows, and when needed serves as a physicality coach. Kyla has performed around the world as a singer and actor, and has directed numerous musicals, Shakespearean plays and devised works.  Her first show with Kidz Theater was Children of Eden in 2011. .
