Our Mainstage program is a rigorous, professional training program. Over ten weeks, students work to mount a fully staged musical production. With a focus on discipline, collaboration, and artistic growth, this program prepares young actors for high-level performance while building a strong, supportive community.

Auditions for new performers will be 3/10 and will be followed by a week of callbacks!

AUDITION WORKSHOP

We will be offering a One Day Audition Workshop for performers who wish to coach their audition material with the director and music director. Info TBA!

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

Rehearsals begin 3/17

Tuesdays and Fridays from 5pm-9pm

Saturdays from 11:30am-7:30pm

Monday, May 25th from 4:30-9:30pm Tech Rehearsal (please note this is Memorial Day and this is a mandatory rehearsal!)

REHEARSAL & PERFORMANCE LOCATION

Rehearsals will be at Ailey Studios (55th) and AMDA Studios (54th St). Some rehearsals may be at various Ripley Grier locations.

Performances are at the Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew Sanctuary on 86th St.

(Performances are through a partnership with the Center at West Park)

TUITION

SUMMER MAINSTAGE TRAINING PROGRAM

(Summer is usually 7th-12th Grades but sometimes Younger grades are included depending on the title)

Our Mainstage Summer Training program is a 4 week intensive and rigorous professional training program. Over 4 weeks, students meet daily to work to mount a fully staged musical production. Through the rehearsal process, students are given intensive and specific feedback and training to deepen and develop their skills. Students leave the Summer Training Program truly transformed. With a focus on discipline, collaboration, and artistic growth, this program prepares young actors for high-level performance while building a strong, supportive community.

AUDITIONS AND CALLBACKS

The summer mainstage program will change this year. Performers will audition by video to be selected into the training program. Once selected, performers will confirm their spots and pay tuition.

Once selected, performers will participate in live callbacks to select their role in the show.

Live callbacks will be 2-3 days between June 8 and 14 (dates TBA)

Performances are at the Theater at St. Clements, an Off Broadway venue on 46th St

TUITION

$1450. The Summer Training Program is a focused, 4 week summer program with all day, daily rehearsal. Because of the intensive nature, tuition is slightly higher than a school year show. Scholarships are available— the deadline to apply will be in early June!
