About kidz Theater

Kidz Theater is a professional development company for young performers seeking a career in musical theater.  We offer classes and productions for performers ages 8-18 and strive to teach professionalism, discipline and strong technique within a supportive, family environment.  Our productions feature Broadway veterans as well as those with exceptional raw talent, and many of our performers have gone on to Broadway or other professional productions within a few months of performing with Kidz Theater.  Currently, our alumni are a part of all of the top college musical theater programs (many with hefty scholarships!) as well as working professionally on Broadway, in National Tours and Regional Theaters. More than just a typical youth theater, Kidz Theater strives to teach professionalism to each student or performer that comes through our doors.

JUNIE B. JONES THE MUSICAL JR. AUDITIONS ARE MAY 6TH

Kidz Theater is excited to once again offer one of our FAVORITE programs-- The Kidz Theater Junior Musical Theater Production Intensive!  This exciting workshop is an opportunity for young performers in grades 2-8 to learn about the professional rehearsal process and develop their performance skills.

From Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich, the creators who brought you Dear Edwina and Dear Edwina JR., comes Junie B. Jones The Musical JR. – a delightful adaptation of four of Barbara Park's best-selling books, brought to life in a delightful adapatation created specifically for Broadway Junior performers.

Join Junie B. on her first day of first grade, where many changes are in store: Junie's best friend Lucille has found new best friends - and Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. While in Mr. Scary's class Junie has trouble reading the blackboard - and she may need glasses. Add in a friendly cafeteria lady, an intense kickball tournament and a "Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal," and first grade has never been more exciting.
